Epic-Noting or pertaining to a long poem, generally centered around a hero. Typically in a long series containing the hero’s great achievements or events.

Examples: Homer’s Illiad, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter etc etc.

It is so overused in the wrong context constantly all the time, I cannot even stand it.

Just no. Stop. “Omg you’re so legit”, “Dude it’s like…legit”. Overused, annoying. It’s legitimate. “Her argument was legitimate” 

Just no. If someone where to say, “That’s epically legit” I would cause serious damage to their esophagus.
